Phew! Okay, so I posted the Storyline Archives! I still have a LOT more work to do, but for now, just enjoy the new feature! :D
Also, because I was working on that (and woke up a bit late, oops!) today's Outlander Man will be a little late.
Thanks!

Phew! Okay, so I made some changes to the home page (as you can see)! Updated banner, new features, yadda yadda yadda. All that good jazz. SOOOO. First of all, I'm really excited to say that Danielle Corsetto has linked me on her site for her own webcomic Girls with Slingshots! Wow! (If you haven't read it yet, you should! It's really good. But definitely more for young adults and up. Deeeeeefinitely.) And, with my birthday coming up (SHRIEKS TOMORROW) I've decided to change up the site a bit! I've been meaning to for a while, but I've finally come up with a decent idea on how to better archive my comics. I want to create a new tab on the navigation menu for STORYLINE ARCHIVES! Then I'll sort all my comics by storyline and post them so that they're easier to access and read! :D I'll still leave up the old blog archiving/posting system too, because that way you guys can still comment on a strip if you want, haha. So yeah! It should be easy enough to do… maybe… probably… I hope, heh heh. Anyway, I also realize my Character tab is so outdated it might as well exist in another time period. X'D Whups. So I might be updating that too….sometime. ALSO I'LL TRY TO GET BACK ON TRACK WITH DIGITALIZING OLD SCANNED IN OUTLANDER MANS. :'D Ha ha, Storyline Archive thing will come first for sure, though. ;3 Well, I've gone off and done it again. I made some small edits to a few Outlandie strips because they were REALLY starting to bother me: 1. Strips #7 to #11 have FINALLY gotten the /2014 part of their date changed to /2013; 2. Ziti has officially been recolored, and now looks a lot more like ziti: 3. LAST THING: I added tails to the closed word balloons in #302, to make it more clear that, yes, Boss is speaking.
One other thing I want to say before I fly off (INTO THE HOR-IIIIII-ZON, THE BEE-OOT-Y-FUL HOR-IIIIII-ZON): I'm learning HTML and CSS in the hope that I'll be able to create my VERY OWN website for my comics oh yaaay cry ;v; EY EY well, toodles. First of all, I'd like to apologize to June for not posting a single Beeravian Blog thing in that rotten month. Secondly, today's the day that I officially have drawn Outlander Man for a whole year. This does not sound very impressive until you realize that I usually can't stick with something to save my life. AND LOOK I did a special banner for the home page weee So yeah. That's all. I've been kinda busy lately, I'm writing a story shhh, so I apologize for all the late updates for Jump Rope. I'm terrible with that aha. I've also been reading a whole lot more, so that's really uninteresting. OH ALSO: Do you guys think it's too confusing for Ziti to be a brown lion but to not be colored in darker on black-and-white strips?? I think that maybe it is so? I'm probably going to change her to a white lion in a red dress (because I've only actually colored her in on a Sunday twice AND I don't have all the black-and-white strips saved with layers so), but I thought I'd just ask. ALSO JULY 4TH HAPPENED. It was Independence Day, or the Fourth of July, or Crazy-Fireworks Day or what. Hmmm and I drew a bunny holding the U.S. flag in the 7/4/14 strip; did you notice? ;D Oh hey, guess what?? I MADE YET ANOTHER WEEBLY WEBSITE. Yeah, I know, I'm terrible. But it's for my one-off comics. :D Just random ideas that hit me like stupelectrid lightning and that I promptly transformed into comic strips. I've actually been doing comic strips under this new one-off webcomic's name for a while now: I call it "Jump Rope." So yeah! Go check it out, if you like! I've already got the first comic strip up: Jump Rope Comix. Thanks, y'all! Chiara So hey, I decided to change something on my site ONCE AGAIN. . . . I decided to change my signature. Yeah, "Cybug" is all right and all, but I thought, "Why not use my real name?" So I changed my signature to this: Yeah, my real name's Chiara. Surprise. *confetti*
Anyway, I just realized something important and shocking: My origin stories for these changes are extremely boring. ANYWAY. I had to update ALL the Outlander Man's I had digitalized with this sig. It was painful to do, and very dragging. ewe *wheezes* Save me. Yeah, so I digitalized the first post last night! Hurrah. Hey, you know what's funny? How much my art changed in less than a year. I mean, just look at how I used to draw Outlander Man and then compare it with how I draw him now (I mean, he had no neck and his hair just sort of flew around at first AND OH GOSH WHAT IS GOING ON WITH HIS ARM IN PANEL TWO): Oh yeah, I seem to have forgotten to mention this, but . . . I've decided to color Sunday Outlandies. ^w^ Yep. So I uploaded yesterday's now-colored-in strip this morning because I accidentally saved it to a different file . . . which I found out about today. Ha. Funny. *frowns moodily* Well, just check it out. : D Sorry for the delay: Yeah, so you may have noticed that I digitalized today's Outlandie. I'm going to try and have a digitally inked Outlander Man up on the site from now on. For now, I'll upload the traditionally-drawn version around 9 to 11 A.M., but I WILL try to have the inked version up later. Over the summer I'd like to try and digitally ink all of the Outlandie's, but it'll be slow. I have to use three different programs in order to get one strip up. Hurrah! *raises goblet wearily* So, in honor of my cramped hand, gaze upon BEAUTY and SPARKLING CLEANNESS: Look below and you will be rendered speechless: Yes sir, that there on your left is Outlander Man's original design — it's also the first picture I ever drew of him. It was just a random doodle of a superhero I drew up because I was feeling bored and had nothing better to do. See children? This is why boredom is important. But seriously, it's funny for me to compare old Outlandie to his new version. The hair was changed in style because, originally, I wanted Bob (the big one) to look all scruffy and lame. Then, when he got his super powers, he was supposed to magically receive a different haircut. Why did this not happen? I forgot. Yes, I forgot. But it's a lucky thing I did, because his character DRASTICALLY changed from what I had originally decided to write him as. Outlandie was supposed to be arrogant and impudent. Like, REALLY arrogant and impudent. Just look at the older version's stance and position. This guy thinks he owns the WORLD. The newer version just looks apathetic. Imagine the Outlander Man you know today in his older version's skin. Okay, don't: that's just freaky. But you get my point. Hopefully. |
